B12

Vitamin B12

 

What it is:

Vitamin B12 is an essential vitamin that helps your body make red blood cells and supports healthy nerve function.

 

Potential benefits:

 

  • Supports energy production

  • Helps reduce fatigue caused by B12 deficiency

  • Supports brain and nerve health

  • Helps the body produce healthy red blood cells

 

Who may benefit most:

 

  • People with low B12 levels

  • Vegetarians and vegans

  • Older adults

  • Individuals with certain digestive disorders

 

Possible side effects:

 

  • Mild soreness at the injection site

  • Redness or swelling

  • Rarely, headache or nausea

Amino Blend

What it is:

A combination of amino acids, which are the building blocks your body uses to make muscle, hormones, enzymes, and other important tissues.

 

Potential benefits:

 

  • Supports muscle recovery

  • May help reduce exercise-related fatigue

  • Supports tissue repair

  • May assist with hydration and recovery after intense exercise

 

Possible side effects:

 

  • Mild injection site discomfort

  • Nausea

  • Headache

B-Complex

What it is:

A blend of several B vitamins, often including B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and B12.

 

Potential benefits:

 

  • Supports energy production

  • Supports nervous system health

  • Helps convert food into usable energy

  • May help with fatigue related to vitamin deficiencies

 

Possible side effects:

 

  • Bright yellow urine (normal)

  • Injection site soreness

  • Flushing or warmth

Biotin (B7)

Biotin (Vitamin B7)

 

What it is:

Biotin is a B vitamin that helps your body process fats, proteins, and carbohydrates.

 

Potential benefits:

 

  • Supports healthy hair, skin, and nails

  • Helps maintain normal metabolism

  • Supports healthy nervous system function

 

Important note:

Biotin is most helpful in people who are deficient. Evidence for dramatically improving hair growth in people with normal levels is limited.

 

Possible side effects:

 

  • Injection site soreness

  • Rare allergic reactions

Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)

What it is:

Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage and supports immune function.

 

Potential benefits:

 

  • Supports immune health

  • Helps with collagen production for skin and connective tissue

  • Supports wound healing

  • Helps the body absorb iron

 

Possible side effects:

 

  • Burning or stinging during injection

  • Injection site irritation

  • Mild nausea

Mineral Blend

What it is:

A mixture of essential minerals that may include magnesium, zinc, selenium, and trace minerals depending on the formulation.

 

Potential benefits:

 

  • Supports hydration

Taurine

What it is:

Taurine is an amino acid-like compound found naturally in the body, especially in muscles, the heart, and the brain.

  • May help reduce muscle fatigue

 

Possible side effects:

  • Headache

  • Dizziness (uncommon)

Vitamin D

What it is:

Vitamin D3 helps the body absorb calcium and supports bone, immune, and muscle health.

  • Supports immune function

  • Helps maintain strong bones and teeth

  • Supports muscle function

  • May improve symptoms associated with vitamin D deficiency

 

Who may benefit most:

 

  • Individuals with low vitamin D levels

  • People with limited sun exposure

  • Older adults

 

Possible side effects:

 

  • Injection site soreness

  • Rare allergic reactions

  • Excessive dosing over time can lead to elevated vitamin D levels and high calcium levels

Lipo-C

What it is:

Lipo-C is a popular lipotropic injection that usually contains a combination of:

 

  • Methionine

  • Inositol

  • Choline

  • Vitamin B12

 

These nutrients are involved in fat metabolism and liver function.

 

Potential benefits:

 

  • Supports healthy fat metabolism

  • Supports liver function

  • May help with energy levels

  • Often used alongside nutrition and exercise programs

 

Important note:

Lipo-C is not a weight-loss medication and does not “melt fat.” It is best viewed as a nutritional support tool.

  • Mild nausea

  • Headache
